Weißenhorn Tablets

Summary:
The Weißenhorn Tablets bear inscriptions which are easily translatable using the Celtic script and Old Celtic or Gaulish idiom. The Celtic script was first decoded by Hans-Rudolph Hitz using other ancient scripts such as Lepontic and Iberic. It also is quite similar to other Gaulish inscriptions and the Welsh Coelbren carried on into Medieval and Renaissance times. These artefacts. discovered by accident, were bulldozed and unearthed from teh site without context and then delivered in a truck load of gravel to a client. A methodical archaeological survey of the original site or gravel pit should yield more results.
